How To Measure Your Countertops For An Estimate

It’s As Easy As 1-2-3!

  1. SUPPLIES: All you need is paper, a pencil, and a measuring tape. Pictures are helpful, but not necessary – use any camera device you have handy!

  2. SKETCH: Roughly draw the shape of your countertop space. (Don’t worry! It doesn’t have to be perfect!) Remember to include your appliance locations and any required cutouts for sinks and cooktops. If you would like a backsplash, please indicate where you would like it. Snap a few pictures, if it’s convenient.

  3. MEASURE: Measure (in inches) along the back edge of each run of cabinets or counter space. Measure the length and width of any special areas, such as peninsulas, bar tops, window sills, knee walls, shower pieces, etc. Open the sink cabinet doors and measure the width of the cabinet.

(When you’re ready, we will digitally template your project to get accurate measurements. These measurements are simply to allow us to quote your job.)
