1 One-Stop Solution
Don’t spread yourself thin by going between a stone yard, fabricator, contractor, sealing service, repair man, etc… Save yourself the time and frustration when you work with a one-stop shop like Granite & Marble Works! When you hire us, you’ll deal directly with one of our employees every step of the way. We never subcontract or outsource any part of the countertop installation process, so you never have to work with strangers—we manage the project in-house from start to finish.
No need to remove your old counters for template – we digitally template over your existing counters. We usually install your new countertops and properly mount your new sink within a few hours, depending on the complexity of the project.
2 Experience You Can Trust
We have a track record other companies simply can’t beat. Our employees are the best in the business, with 200+ years of combined experience in construction and stonework. Every year we install over 1,500 natural and manufactured stone countertops, bathroom vanities, hearths, surrounds, and furniture pieces for local residents and businesses in the Capital District.
3 Stone Selection You Can’t Beat
We are an importer and fabricator of the finest natural stone from around the world, including the US, Brazil, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, India, Canada and Norway. We have over 1,900 slabs of stone in stock, so you’re sure to find the perfect natural or manufactured stone countertops to fit your design specifications! You’ll love seeing our enormous inventory, which showcases over 250 colors of stone in our 45,000 square-foot, heated facility. Want to take a visit to our warehouse? Appointments are encouraged!
4 Precise Measuring Services
Don’t trust a stone company that makes you measure your own countertops. When you partner with Granite & Marble works, we’ll send our stone experts to you to precisely measure and template your job. At your location, we’ll confirm all the personal touches you prefer while finalizing seam location, corners, overhands, radii, and support requirements with you, so you have input every step of the way.
5 Expert Layout Design
We don’t cut corners to save on costs. When we lay out your design, we plan the cuts to preserve artistic merit and protect the stone’s natural beauty and structural integrity. We always make an effort to take advantage of the stone’s natural patterns while minimizing seams. After template creation, if you would like to have input on the areas of the stone to include or avoid, we invite your feedback.
6 Transparent Pricing
Other companies charge customers extra hidden fees. Not us. When you partner with Granite & Marble Works, we offer fair, easy-to-understand, accurate pricing, which means no surprises for your wallet. Unlike other fabricators, we do not make you buy whole slabs. In most cases, you will only pay for the portion of stone that is needed for your project.
7 We Follow Up
After installation, we want to make sure you’re satisfied with your countertop purchase. You will receive a follow-up call from our office to ask how you like the finished product and to see if you have any questions.
8 Warranty
When you purchase countertops from Granite & Marble Works, asking us to return for repairs or maintenance is no problem – just give us a call, even after your first year. We take customer service very seriously. In fact, we have a very loyal customer base and much of our business is referred by happy customers.
9 Shop Local and Support Small Businesses!
We’re not your average Big Box chain store that attracts you with flashy low prices but fails to live up to quality and service standards in the long term. We’re a local family-run company with a real interest in our customers and our community. When you buy stone from us, it’s our mission to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase.
