Why We Have Works In Our Name

Granite & Marble Works front lobbyAs home to one of the largest selections of quartz and natural stone in the country, we’re proud to be able to provide customers with plenty of options to choose from in order to make the kitchen or bathroom of their dreams a reality. There’s no shortage of stone type, color or pattern when you walk through our clean, organized, and yes, huge warehouse.

And it’s the abundance of stone slabs that we carry that supply the first part of our business’s name, Granite & Marble Works. The fact that we house over 1,500 different slabs at any one time makes it easy to see why so many people from places beyond upstate New York make the trip to find their perfect stone (quite a few of our customers come from New England, Pennsylvania and New Jersey).

But when you add in the second part of our name (“Works”), and what it stands for, you realize why customers come back to Granite & Marble Works project after project.

Mikeand Margaret in front of stone slabsWe chose to have “Works” in our name because we work for you. And we mean it. When we are hired for your kitchen or bathroom project, you will have an experienced team working to provide you with everything you are looking for in counters. We are a one-stop shop.

It starts with taking the time to choose the right material. And we’re not talking about choosing a pattern you like. We discuss how the counter will be used (Is it a high traffic area? Or will it be out of the way and hardly used?) to give you the information on what stone is best for your situation. Then we walk around the warehouse to pick out the slab based on your needs and preferences.

And that’s just the start. Where many stone businesses would call it a day, we start to show our true colors. We take a digital template of your space in order to perfectly cut the stone. Our professionals (no subcontractors) will remove the old counters, usually the same day that they plan to install the new ones.

Because your satisfaction is so important to us, we then provide a one-year warranty on our countertop installations. If there are repairs or maintenance to be done, just give us a call.

Want to learn more about the Granite & Marble Works process? Have questions on countertops? Please give us a call. We want to make sure you are comfortable and have as much information as you need as you make your stone countertop choices. At Granite & Marble Works we know how much of an investment counters are for you. That’s why we take the entire process so seriously and we can’t wait to prove it to you.
